Re using old magic bands

Just dug out the kids magic bands. We were going to buy new ones for them but thought that me and DH may as well use their old ones. How do I link them to mine and DH tickets?

You can’t. Once they’re linked to a person that’s it.

you may be able to get disney tech support to chnge them. I succesfully did this recently for my son.

We asked at reception when we checked into the hotel and they did it for us no problem

Kind of related question. We have paper tickets (linked them on MDE though) . Our first day is at Disney springs - can I use photo studio there if I haven't yet been into the parks. I haven't got a physical card for us yet (just the girls old bands which appear to be linked fine in MDE)

We used old ones but had to buy one in the parks and for a plain one it was $20 plus tax.

Photo studio? Disney Springs has a ticket center there if you want physical cards too. I do believe if you are at a Disney resort then your hotel room card works as your ticket too, or so someone else said in another thread. Also can use your phone if you set up Magic Mobile or of course Magic Bands. Too many choices these days.
