Skin So Soft Original Dry Oil Spray

Is this the one that is supposed to stop bites?
I am just wondering if it is worth getting but I think I remember reading mixed reviews on here.
Just to add, the smell of mozzie spray makes me gag so I really don't want to wear it. I just though this might be worth a try instead.

Thanks Anne, I am going to Europe, will it still deter those little beggers?

Says it does do. Only time I've been bitten here is when I've forgotten to put it onthe

Doesn't stink and it's moisturising as well.

I'm a mosquito buffet, they absolutely love me. Tried Avon Skin So Soft dry oil in Rhodes last year, completely useless. I ended up going to he pharmacy for some steroid cream as I had a reaction to them. The pharmacist gave me two tips:

- take antihistamines for at least a week before you go (doesn't stop you getting bitten but stops you reacting as strongly)
- buy your bug spray there as locals will only use stuff that works there

Having said that, I was thinking of getting something that works on Scottish Midges (such as smideup) as they are apparently hardier beasts than mozzies :-)

That's when I first bought Smidge.

Works really well for me. I really put it to the test at Okenofee swamp as it was Yellowfly season, covered myself in it but forgot to do the top of my feet - 5 bites there but none anywhere else

I use lemon shower gel and the skin so soft spray. The combination works for me. Apparently bugs hate citrus.
