Universal AP - cancelling after 13 months?

Saw this on another thread where someone said you could cancel after 13 months (or whenever) and stop paying.

Obviously, for those of us who go the same weeks every year, 12 months is no good because the AP ends as you get there in the 2nd year.

But can you do this? I assumed that once the 2nd year AP had started then you were pretty much commited to pay for the year regardless. (i.e. if you stop DD then you've still got to pay).

ah answering my own question here I think you can do that...
Basically, after the 1st year you get billed 1/12th of the annual cost per month. And you can bail at any time with 30 days notice.

Thats brill for those of us who go same weeks because it now covers 2 years. Just cancel after 12 months and pay one month.

(One month for preferred AP based on todays price would be $58 or so)

" I authorize UO to charge my credit card or any valid replacement card I supply in
the future, for the initial term of twelve (12) months based on the amounts set forth below, and for future payments on
a month-to-month basis. Upon renewal, each monthly payment will be equal to 1/12 of the then current annual retail
rate for the Passes after the initial twelve (12) months."
