Disney Parking for offsite guests

We are staying off site so will be paying $30 per day or whatever it currently is to park an SUV.

Couple of questions if anyone can help, does the parking fee enable me to return on same day if we leave the park and also does it allow me to park at a different park on the same day if we park hop?

Book a resort reservation for every day, say Contemporary, for one person and accept you'll lose $10. Or is this morally wrong? :-)

Just to say, I've never done this 😇

You'd be as well parking at Disney Springs and using Disney transport if doing this, at least that's free!

palmlodge I'm confused? I'm assuming that you mean book an ADR ? Not sure how having a 3 hour window helps? You don't just get to stay all day with an ADR, it's 3 hours & as I understand it they are quite strict with it, it will be something that has been done/tried 1000's of times!

I assume you mean a dining reservation and not a hotel reservation? It'll cost a lot more to stay at the Contemporary than it will to park a car at the theme parks.

As mentioned above, a dining reservation only gets you 3 hours of parking. Which, I suppose, is ok if you're only thinking of spending 3 hours at MK.

I assume they mentioned the Contemporary because it's closest to MK. You can walk from the Contemporary to MK - no need to mess about queuing for buses.

In fact, it would be a lot quicker to park at the Contemporary and walk to MK then it would to park at the TTC and then get the ferry or monorail over to MK. So you'd save time.

For Epcot I assume they'd suggest booking a dining reservation at, say, the Beach Club and walk to Epcot. For HS either park at the BoardWalk (or somewhere similar) and walk or park at CBR and get the Skyliner. AK is a bit more of a faff.

Obviously there are limitations with booking a dining reservation to skip parking at the theme parks, as already mentioned.

I've heard that you can do this, but never had the gumption to do it before With current prices for parking etc, how long does the Disney transport take to get to say MK?
