Thanks for all the replies. I had never thought of Leeds and didn't know that it was so close to York and it's a place I would like to visit. I will keep this one for a slightly longer trip.

I think we may make this an annual event so I will take her to all of them eventually.

This time I think I have decided on Glasgow purely on the cost of flights!

it seems likely there will be another lockdown at half term so i would be cautious on booking any where...

I wouldn't come to Glasgow. A lot of things haven't reopened and the Covid 19 cases are rising here.

I’m going to Liverpool next week from N.Ireland. Our flights there were £21 each &£25 back with easyJet. Nothing has been cancelled so we will still go regardless unless told not to travel.
