Brits guide and general question.

Sorry for what may seem like daft questions but it's been a while and I'm a bit out of touch .

Looking to book a week car hire in the middle of our stay next month. I've picked up the usual suspects and Alamo Brits it's £15-20 cheaper for us . Do I need the latest copy of book to get my discount ?

Also will the silver insurance be adequate?

Cheers
Donna

I don't see a mention of silver insurance on the Alamo Brits page, but the insurance includes CDW and SLI (they call it EP), so insurance wise you're all good. It also includes an additional driver.

I've not used Alamo Brits myself, but though technically you are required to have the guide book with you (which makes the saving less) most people on here who have used them say they have never been asked to produce it as proof for the discount.
