Helicopter Rides
We'll be staying at the Quality Inn Plaza on our next visit (opp The Pointe), which has helicopter rides next door.
Has anybody been on one here, or anywhere else. We definitely want to do this on our next trip. Which was the best?

we did a helicopter trip in 2001, but we went with a company who were on the 192, they were much cheaper. I'm sure someone else will be along soon who can give directions. The company that you are talking about are right next to the Race Rock, and very close to QIP, ( walking distance) so if you don't have a car its probably a good option. The one we went with did several diferent trips, from 20 mins to about 4 hours. Absolutely fantastic experience and you can take brill photos of disney Ceri X

We want to do this while we're in Orlando. I've been talking to a lady at work today who did a helicopter trip in August 03. The only info she could give me on the one they used was that it was past WDW, but she didn't say in which direction! She said the pilot was a Scottish ex-RAF guy and she said the trip was absolutely fantastic! They did the 10 minute trip and it cost about $150 for two adults and two children.
I'll let you know when I get back which one we went on! |
