Carnival - kids go free, or do they?
carnival/
They have an offer on the home page for free 3rd & 4th passengers. I've delved through the fine print and it appears to be on cruises to St. Petersburg (Russia not Florida). However, I can't work out how to get a price with free kids. Can they advertise that, and then not offer it? Surely that's not allowed. |

You can't see the prices of each passenger with Carnival like you can with DCL. They have specific cabins for two three or four guests unlike DCL, where you an book almost any cabin. Try comparing the prices on Carnival.com.
Those prices on the Baltic cruises are amazing. If you do book Bev book through Carnival.com not Carnival UK. If the rate early saver is still there book that too, because and then claim a price drop up to 2 days prior to sailing. I have just secured a price adjustment of £577 on my Med sailing, after a 4 week battle with carnival UK. I had to switch rates to get it but I can't get any further drops in price once I am past final payment. Also I was only given this because I wrote to the CEO in Miami complaining again, so they over ruled .UK. If no early saver available make sure you book a rate that you can change because if a reduced rate comes along before final payment you can switch to that ONLY if you book through .com. I have managed to obtain a contact for a Carnival PVP if you want it although I think Tracey can sell Carnival cruises too. It's NCL that are offering free kids, but the cruises are for September onwards. There aren't any free kids on Carnival, and there is no talk of it on CC, which is where I spend most of my time these days. Edit I see what you mean. Have you tried all categories of cabin? No reduction on an interior. Carnival co sailing 01/09/13 which should have third and 4th free £2359 balcony. .com no free passengers $3792 friends and family sale rate around £2500. Prices quoted are for a balcony. Basically a con. Edited at 11:57 AM. |

Aha. I was getting a free kids price but it wasn't obvious until I compared it with the price for just 2 passengers. (it's actually free 3/4 passengers they don't have to be kids)
Unfortunately that means it's too expensive. I thought the price I was seeing was for 4 passengers, and I might be able to get it for around half that. But that was the half price (iyswim). |
