I'd agree with all of the above - go Signature and for a later reservation time and there'll be less children around.
When I think back I can remember there being some children near us at Le Cellier and Yachtsman (although none at Brown Derby and California Grill, I don't think). Thinking back, I did register there were children, but I didn't find them to negatively impact any meals. Enjoy whatever you choose! |

I agree with all the comments about signatures... narcoossees and jiko didn't have a child oriented environment when we went there! For non-signature options we found olivias and surprisingly sanaa (relatively) nice and quiet/good for adults. We still enjoyed places like sci fi diner and be our guest as two adults without kids though!

Thanks for the suggestions, will check them out.
We did gave whispering canyon on the list until we read about the going ons whilst eating! It's now been taken off the list! We don't mind children but didn't want the added extras whilst eating! |

We've got kids (well, 12 & 13 now) but we wouldn't like any shenanigans either! I think you can choose not to be part of it but of course, the rest of the restaurant may have other ideas
We took our kids (aged 7 & 8 at the time) to Narcoossee's and HBD and both were quiet, even with the presence of some children. |

You can have children at most restaurants in Disney. I see that a lot of people have mentioned Narcoossee's, when we visited there the couple across from us had a baby who cried the whole way through their meal, they tried taking turns taking the baby outside to settle him/her, but nothing worked. I felt sorry for the couple, but it was probably a bit annoying for a few people.
Saying that, we've seen older children in all restaurants and they are usually very well behaved. |
