Photopass on DCL

not sure if this is in the right place but I'm thinking of getting a photo pass plus as we will be having lots of character meals although not many of the rides. We are at Disney for 2 weeks then moving to a cruise for 1 week. I've read that the pass is only valid for 14 days so my question is can I use them on the cruise and any ideas how to get over the 14 day use policy?

I don't think Photopass is available onboard the cruise ships.

The cruise ship is completely seperate. They take photos and link them to your room key (similiar to the photopass) then you can either buy prints, or buy a CD of all the photos but it's more expensive than the parks CD
