26th Dec For 3 Nights

We are thinking of booking a 3 night from Port Canaveral from 26th Dec to 29th Dec 2013. Can anyone tell me what is the weather like? Will Castaway Cay be too cold for a swim? What's it like onboard? Is there anything Christmassy going on?

Thanks

the ship will be decorated for the holidays but not sure of there will be any actual holiday activity as such, you will definitely have a sail away party and a firework pirates in the caribbean party and there will probably be some changes to the food onboard with more seasonal menus and choices

with regards to your castaway cay question we have been on castaway cay in very early jan (4th) and it's been gorgeous weather and fine to swim, the water always feels a little cool when you first step in but that's because it's so warm out of it

i've got my eye on the next cruise leaving 29th just waiting to see if any last minute drop outs when it comes to the balance due dates because only more expensive rooms left now for this one, the 26th will be lovely though it would make for a nice relaxing escape from all the madness of the parks around this time

That's what I am thinking. Have booked Disney from 25th Dec - 8th Jan but am worried the first week will be too busy and we won't enjoy it. At least on the ship the numbers are limited and what a great way to get over the jeg lag

You are right - I can save nearly £500 going from Miami. Not sure my husband will appreciate the drive though

it can be sold to him i'd be trying "we can stop off and see the everglades darling" and as for the drive isn't it just a extra 2 hours on top of the 1hr drive to pc ?

i'm not sure what theme park tickets you are buying but less days in the resort maybe you could save money by switching to myw base tickets ?
