Cruise & Maritime
We have friends who are considering a Baltic cruise with Cruise & Maritime. We've been to the Baltic ports and can give them some pointers but we don't know anything about Cruise & Maritime. Has anyone sailed with them and could offer opinions? Thanks.

My parents are currently on a Baltics cruise with them now. My mum was wary as did not know a lot about the company and usually cruises Celebrity or P&O but the dates worked at a brilliant price so they thought they would give it a go. I have to say, my parents have been very happy with the customer service that they have received prior to sailing (upgrade of cabin, excursions at a reasonable price and easy booking process). They are back later this week so could update you more on the actual experience then if required.

Hi, sorry for the delay in updating you re my parent's cruise and hope it isn't too late. Positives: the cruise Itinerary was great and they had a good alternative port put in when weather meant they couldn't dock at one; food was ok- mum said it was standard mass produced food- edible and lots of it but not 'special'.
My parents didn't think the condition of the boat was good (they moved cabin twice due to air con and leaks) and they felt that the staff struggled to deal with issues. They said they wouldn't choose the line again but that many other people seemed happy. Sorry for a bit of a negative experience and it is just their opinion on one sailing, of course. |
