Throwaway Booking - Do I Need To Check-In ?

Hi all

I know the subject of throwaway bookings divides opinion somewhat but we went for it when we first heard about it many months ago.

Magic bands have already been delivered to the personal shopper (thanks Debbie !) but I'm not sure if I have to 'check-in' to the campsite for any reason or not ?
And when I try, whether online or via the app, I keep getting a "Sorry we encountered an error" message !

Do we have to check in ? What happens if we don't ? Will the free car-parking not work ?

Be interested to know if anyone else is having this problem too.

I checked In ok the other day , I did decline magic bands though as we will already have them , have you tried on desktop and made sure it’s on usa on the top ?

I’m definitely checked in for next month . Just looked in mde now , I checked in last week . You should be able to do it .

Thanks Mexy02 - just tried that and still getting the same error message when trying to check-in with the US setting

I'll try again in a couple of days but if it doesn't make any difference and we'll still be able to take advantage of the free parking I guess it doesn't matter.

Unless anyone knows otherwise ?

Well, I've tried several times now, on different PC's in different browsers, and even on the app, and I get an error every time I try and check-in.

Has anyone done the throwaway booking and not checked in at all ?

Just want to make sure the parking is going to OK on day 2 - don't want to be embarrassed at the gate if i can help it
