I've already booked a villa for Aug 2022 but after looking on Travel Republic yesterday I also saw that you could book a Uni hotel, might do a few days at Cabana Bay and book now to extend the holiday a bit

It's £1218 for 4 nights, so roughly £304 a night. Standard rooms for our dates are £232. We did 2 nights club level in 2018 and it was £120 more than a standard room, but for 4 of us it's worth it because we saved an absolute fortune on breakfast and drinks, my kids and DH drink like fishes and to be able to nip into the clubroom and just help ourselves to water/snacks was great, especially with teens!

For us, the drinks and snacks make it worth the money, we didn't spend a penny on drinks in Volcano bay, or spend money on breakfast/evening snacks. And the kids, who were 12 & 10 at the time (will be 16 & 14 in 2022) will love going in themselves for snacks and some chill time. Wether its worth the money who knows, but, we enjoy it!

You are selling this to me! I’ve just been looking at it in more detail on the universal website can I ask... when it says ‘snacks’, do you know typically what sort of things this would be please? I’m trying to work out whether this would work as a light lunch or whether it is more like sweet treats / fruit?
ETA Just realised its slightly different details as I was looking at RPR club level, not sure if that that makes a difference 🤔

Might see you up there depending on your dates. I’m planning to rebook our cancelled 2020 trip to the same period in 2022. DS will be 16 and just done his GCSE’s. Just need to decide whether to come back for results day or the day after

We need to be back for GCSE results too. I’ve booked 18th-22nd, aiming fo fly home on 23rd or 24th depending on where we fly from! We cancelled August 2020 too!
