Proud to wear my Ears

Hi,
I think it will come down to personal experience. We have tried both and much prefer upstairs in the bubble. The kids (now teenagers) excitement of going upstairs in the aircraft and personally feeling that it is quieter and the service (in my opinion) is better as you have dedicated crew to a slightly smaller number of passengers. Food is the same in both PE cabins. We like the extra space by the window (13 year old sat alongside us on the window ledge for a short part of the journey which gives an indication as to the extra space). (He did have his own PE seat but we were playing a game). Upstairs again at the end of this month - cannot wait! Whatever you book - have a magical vacation! |

We love upstairs, it’s quieter and we like the space at the side.
Some people prefer downstairs as they find upstairs claustrophobic and can get off the plane quicker downstairs. |

We go downstairs out to get off quicker (sad I know) but upstairs home as it’s quieter usually for sleeping!

I've had bad experiences with both if I'm honest. I always fly PE. The last time was in the bubble and I was behind a VERY inconsiderate (I believed), DRUNK lady. From the minute we got on the flight, she flung her chair back and for some odd reason, kept sitting forward and then launching herself backwards full pelt and it was still smashing into my knees (I am tall). And then she wasn't even leaning back in her chair but kept it reclined for the full 9 hours and was launching herself backwards almost every 10 minutes. When I questioned her she swore at me and said she was trying to get &%cking comfy. The threw her neck pillow over the seat and it landed on my lap.
I informed cabin crew and they did NOTHING. I was fuming. couldnt believe id paid all this money and was having such an uncomfortable experience. It just goes to show you... you can still get rough inconsiderate people in the 'posh seats'

I agree. But I felt sad because I saved up for a while just to sit there for that holiday, and some rotten old drunken hag ruined it for me

Dont get me started on drunks and flights. The airports sell people as much drink as they can in the short time they are at the airport to boost profits. Once they are on the plane its someone else's problem
I really think it should be max of 2 drinks per flights with boarding passes used to purchase them. If litre bottles are bought from duty free they should be stored and taken to the departure gate by the staff like they do at orlando Rant over |
