Macbook Air & Pro Prices & Locations?
What are Macbook Air and Pro's retailing at in the US and where's best to buy in Orlando?
Are there any issues with buying in the US and bringing one over to the UK?

Price wise ... a 13" MB Air at $999 + 6.5% tax ( £850 approx ) would cost £949 in the UK.
You'd save £100... but would exceed your gift allowance in to the UK and could get hit with £150 or so Import Duty fees if stopped. The risk is for you to decide Slightly different keyboard layout , but minimal and can be adjusted in Settings , and you'll need a UK adapter for the 2 prong US plug. Me? I'd rather buy in the UK from the likes of John Lewis and get a 3 year warranty included. I love Macs... 11" and a 13" MBAirs, a 15" MBPro and the 5K 27" iMac testify to that LOL. Would I bring one in from the USA... ? Nope, but that's my choice. I'd just end up confessing to Customs with my knees knocking!... |

You can check the prices on apple's website (change country to USA) and compare the prices. There's also the option of a refurbished product - you can order to collect from an apple store near you when you're over there.
I did this a couple of years ago and was a very simple process - I picked my MBP up from the store in the Florida Mall. |

I would investigate educational discount (up to 15% off) or refurbs in the UK first.
