Can I reuse my Magic Bands?

Got Magic Bands in 2014 and they were great.
Going back this summer and want to know if I can reuse them?
We are staying off site this time.

Yes they can be reused, we have added our new tickets to ours. They do say that they will work as long as there is still life in the battery

It will depend on battery life. Apparently it's 2 years but I've read on here that's more to do with the ability to read the band from a distance for ride photos.

The bands will work forever (or as long as Disney Permits) for all things where you scan the band at a reader (round mickey head) this includes:
Park Entry, FastPass return

The long range functionality used for automatic onride photos / videos will cease to work once the battery runs out (2 years approx).

You can still scan the band at the photopass readers at the end of the ride where available, however some of the rides don't have these anymore..

So to the OP: Your bands will work perfectly fine for entry and Fastpasses as long as they show in MDE as active. If you have memorymaker you might want to consider buying at least one new band to ensure you get the photos / videos from the rides.

Thank you all.
In that case I think we'll buy one new band, as you say, to make sure we get the memory maker photos.
