I am also a Target fan - Walmart is bargain basement, but Target has nice things that are reasonably priced.

Only used Publix and Walmart. Loved both but found Publix better if you just wanted food as it's not so overpowering as Walmart.
Walmart is so huge that DH didn't like it - with myself and 3 DD's in tow I think he thought it was a day trip rather than a food shop!
Publix was a bit more expensive but worth popping in even if it's for their buckets of KFC style chicken - $9.99 for 12 pieces and absolutely gorgeous!

Super Target

We love Super Target little more expensive than Walmart, but much nicer to walk around! Not that I'm a snob!

I agree! Albertsons is more like sainsburys and publix is a bit between tesco and m&s (foodwise). Winn Dixie is more of a Somerfield/Morrisons
Ooooh, nearly forgot Goodings... it's a bit like publix I suppose
Wallmart is like a Giant Asda Superstore and Wallgreens is like Superdrug/boots

When we lived in Orlando (near Sanford/ Altamonte Springs) we had a Publix Gold near us. The trolleys were gold (coloured, not real gold lol) and they had huge chandeliers hanging from the ceilings. Also had a magnificent salad/fruit/snack bar where you could try the food for free, in little tiny pots and tiny wooden forks mmmmm!

Walmart is absolutely amazing - wouldn't call it 'bargain basement'! Sells everything you could wish for under one roof - a dream store! Spends lots of our $$$ in there...

Is Walgreens a pharmacy too? Would that be the best place to go if anyone has any "ailments"? (I'm hoping that by asking about it, it will never happen...)

Yes - and usually with a drive-through pharmacy too!

However most of the supermarkets (inc Walmarts) have pharmacy's too.
