I'm looking for a well deserved break for my family including DD17 and DS12.
something with a bit luxury touch

for around 3 nights in the 2nd week of easter

Thank you

I can't give any specific recommendations as we have only been to places in the north but would suggest for lodges you have a look at Forest Holidays - they have a few sites in the South - Hampshire, Cornwall come to mind.

Also have a look at Featherdown Farms - these are canvas tents rather than lodges. We once stayed at a similar site over Easter and whilst it was fine during the day (lovely sunny days) it was freezing overnight when the log burner went out and in the morning until we got it going and it warmed the tent up. This might be something to bear in mind.

We stay in a luxury mega pod every Easter but I have to say they get booked up 15months in advance. Some of the more popular sites get booked well in advance.

We go to Deers Glade Hanworth near Cromer. This is the first time for years we haven't booked and I'm missing it already.

You don't want a standard pod the mega is really lovely. They also have bell tents and shepherds hut.

I have been glamping in the lodges at Warwick Castle and they are lovely (but expensive) they have entertainment in the evening and bring the birds of prey down!

Dandelion hideaway - been 4 times and absolutely love it there. Their glamping cottages are amazing with the comfiest beds and a bathroom with full roll top bath and shower. Sharon and farmer John are really lovely and helpful too.
