Alamo Sanford

We've never used Alamo at Sanford. Once you have checked in at the counter can you pick your car from a group in the class or are you allocated a specific vehicle. Thanks

We have never been allocated but been able to pick from the row.

Always pick your own car at Alamo in Sanford. My folks use Alamo in Sanford every year and have never been allocated a vehicle.

My Dad did mention last year that the range of cars he had to choose from was very limited compared to years perviously (he goes for a full size car) but that could have just been a 1 off.

Last time for me was 2013. When I checked in the guy outside said he was upgrading me to a full size free of charge, however I couldn't choose he just selected one for me and drove it over.

At Sanford a car was selected for us, we weren't given any to choose from. Not sure if that was because it was the only one available at the time.

might be an upgrade or the guy was just being helpful. There are various rows from which you can pick, and they should give you a free upgrade if there are none left in the class you are after.

I've used Alamo in Sanford several times and never been allocated a car, always told to pick from the row. However I think I read somewhere they do assign higher class/specialist vehicles.

We were told to choose from a section in 2015. It was not allocated to us.
