Thanks everyone, I have tried to talk them into getting the ultimate's but they are set on getting base tickets and just doing 2 days (I've explained this only giving entry to 2 parks without the hopper option)

I've talked through what's at each park with them, offered to plan it all for them and sort FP+ and now I can pass on where to buy the tickets (thanks to you lovely people) so at least I know I've done my bit. I guess some people just always think they know better!

I don't have anything to add about tickets but I was helping one couple who are going next year and were just doing Universal and would maybe have a walk past Disneys entrance 😂😂😂

You really can't do anymore than you've already done. Let them get on with it, It's their loss.
