Car for one day in Vancouver

As the title says, we pick the car up 24 hours before leaving Vancouver.

Our plan is to drive up to Squamish and do the Sea to Sky etc.

Should we carry on to Whistler?

Personally no - I would do the Sea to Sky, the mine museum and Squamish. Having said that, we are used to mountains (live near the Pyrenees so see them most days) so uf you aren't it is a nice enough town but fairly touristy!

We spent a good half day up the S2S!

I wouldn't either.. The best views on the sea to sky highway are on the way back to Vancouver & there are plenty of stopping points.. I would recommend the Howe Sound brewery in Squamish as a good place to eat.

I agree - unless you really want to see Whistler, I wouldn't bother going all the way. If you have time, perhaps you can stop at Capilano or Grouse Mountain. after S2S
