NY pass
Has anyone used the NY pass?
If so... Did you buy it in uk? How long did delivery take? Do you get a voucher to exchange? Where do you exchange? Do you have to or can you pre book attractions? TIA xx |

Bought in UK
Took 5 - 7 days Got the actual pass ready to use. Don't need to prebook attractions... except "The Ride". Special bus tour with sideways seats. Had a 3 day pass and it paid for itself 3 times over. Just need to cram as much as you can in on each day |

Ours came 5 days later. You need to pick up tickets for hop on hop off bus, also The Ride is included in the New York pass, however there's only a set amount available for NYP holders so they say turn up very early as not guaranteed. The NYP has an app which has all the info needed - also states which attractions have fast passes.

We preferred the explorer pass, which we booked at ATD before we travelled. They sent us the 'real' card (ready to use) - not a voucher.

We had it last year.
We booked it on their website and took a code to BB Kings, opposite Madam Tussauds, early on the first morning to pick up the pass and the bus passes. The only thing we booked beforehand was The Ride, where you need to go to their ticket office in Madam Tussauds early on the same day to book a slot for later that day/evening. Other than that we just used it at the ticket booths as we turned up. At some of the places there is a "Skip the line" if you have the NY Pass, so that's handy. We had ours for 3 days and crammed in 10 things, saving us about $100 each.
