Has anyone ever bought perscription glasses in Orlando?, DW was wondering as she needs some new ones and with the exchange rate being what it is at the moment, she wondered if she could buy them cheaper in the US.

I bought prescription glasses last year due to loosing mine while over there.

I bought them from "Lencrafters" in the Florida Mall. They were designer ones so not the cheapest and to be quite honest I think they could have been cheaper here

I did look in Walmart but they did not have my prescription in stock. The frames there were much cheaper.

I'm taking my prescription so I can get some specs from Walmart. Called in last year because I knocked my specs and the needed adjusting. They did this free and cleaned and polished them. I bought a bottle of lens cleaner and the lady told me they refil it free anytime! Can't imagine Sp*c Sav*rs doing that!
