I had a cardigan, a fleece would probably have been a better bet and I was so insistent the boys had their hoodies with them ! It was bitter going over the bridge but then so warm in Union Square in the afternoon

It is amazing and the more we look back, the more we realise it, just such a shame we were a bit too jetlagged and cold to really appreciate it at the time !

Love SF, but quite chilly and foggy isn't it!

Some great pics. The chicken head would have freaked me out too, lol!

We have been laughing recently at the Yorkshire Tea advert for "little urn" - there are shots of the Golden Gate Bridge in brilliant sunshine and we shout at the TV - "rubbish, its cold and foggy" !
I wish I had been quick enough to take a pic of the chicken head , that really is taking the definition of "whole" chicken a bit too literally for my liking
As time passes , my memories of SF are definitely alot fonder than how I felt at the time.
