Can I ask what type of room you booked in the Cottage Inn? We are also a family of 5 and looking to book for next summer? From their website I am guessing a rollaway but just wanted to check?

Hello it was a double queen bed with a rollaway, actually more of a "z" bed style. It was fine for us and this was I think one of the best bargain hotels of our trip. Happy planning

That scenery is simply stunning!

You've just reminded me why I'm so pleased we've waited to do a road trip until we're holidaying without the children! I definitely don't miss those days of them moaning (or arguing) in the back of the car. :angry:

It was breathtaking - and a bit hairy being that close to the edge of the cliff ! yes i am looking forward to this years road trip with just us two .. i appreciate the three of them were a bit squashed and it wasnt as much fund for them .. but the seals tipped me over the edge
