Balloon Dtd

Anyone been in the balloon at Dtd , fancy doing this year , which is best daytime or night time .).)

Not done it myself (scared of heights) but they say on a clear day you can see both coasts. It is very weather dependant so you may need to factor that into your plans.

We've done it...didn't see coastlines though! The I4 was busy!
We did it during the day, and would do a night "flight" next time to compare.

Where does it go? I often saw it from our hotel balcony last time, am i right in thinking it just stays there and doesnt really move?

It is tethered so just goes up and down.

We went in April and I was slightly disappointed. Although it was a clear day and we could see quite a long way, we didn't see as much as I'd somehow expected to - we certainly didn't see one coast, let alone two!
