Hertz infant baby seats question

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has experience of renting an infant car seat with Hertz please? Are they in nice clean condition? Were you happy with the rental seat?
We were going to take our little girls infant carrier but now thinking of just renting to make it easier for us baggage-wise. Just concerned about their condition...

Thanks

Can't help on condition sorry but I do know with Alamo they work out quite expensive for a 2 week vacation!

We head out at the end of January and are taking our own seat, its a little bit more hassle but it doesn't cost anything to actually take (1 pushchair and 1 car seat are free to take), so it worth the little hassle.. We have a rucksack style case for it so it just goes on my partners back!
For the cost of renting one, you are as well to just buy one while you're out there! Plus that way, you know its in a nice condition.. Some rental seats are really grubby, and there is no telling if its been in a car accident before or not, so safety is the biggest question for me.. (baby seats are meant to be replaced even with the slightest of car bumps)
