staying at LBC resort spa and village and grocery delivery

hi
has anyone experience of staying at LBV and having supermarket deliver food/drinks?

I am was thinking maybe we could have some supplies delivered for / on our first evening as we are taking our dd (5yrs) for the first time and my dh thinks she will be too tired to go out that evening to get what we need. I know there is a small shop in the complex but have heard it is expensive...I am thinking things for that eveing, breakfast, drinks and snacks as the next morning we will be straight off to MK.

thanks

The site shop is quite expensive but you could get the essentials from there to see you over the first night. Alternatively there is a Walmart literally across the road which is very easy to get to and you could pop in there quite easily.

We are just back from there. The food in the shop is very expensive, but if you are getting no more than a couple of things to see you through the night you should be ok. Walmart is literally a couple of mins down the road and is easy to find. Out the complex and turn left.

The pub onsite delivers food also. They were stuffing pizza delivery notes through our door every night. We ordered the first night and they took 90 mins to find us. The pizza was rubbish.

If its for the first night and breakfast, what I would do is go down the shop for breakfast stuff and stop off at the pub for dinner and a couple of beers etc

If you havent already done so, ask for a fireworks facing room, high up in block 5. You'll get to see both Epcot and MK fireworks from there.

And watch out for lizards dropping from trees. Happened to me loads and never once didnt scream like a girl

They also have a croc guy to a talk on a wed and fri morning at the pool. The wee guy will get to hold a croc which is quite nice and a good relaxed way to start the day.
