Asics running shoes
Hi all,
After reading about it on here I am doing the C25k programme, doing pretty well methinksJust did run 2 of week 6 and have had no real problems so far (fingers crossed). Anyway need a new pair of runners and my friendly gym instructor has recommended Asics, either gel fortitude 6 or zaraca 2. Anyone know if these on sale in Orlando, do they have Asics at the outlets? I can them here in a sale for around €60 and am wondering if I should just get them before I go? Any thoughts? Thanks |

There is an ASIC shop at Premium International which stocks a good range of ASICS. I wear Gel Kayano and they are usually the same in $ as they are £, which is on average £120. If you can get a good deal here I'd say buy before you go however I would head to a local running shop and get them to messure your gait before you buy running shoes to make sure you are wearing the right ones

Have you tried either on? The reason I ask is I've bought asics and mizuno in Florida, I bought what I thought were the next model up of shoes from what I was wearing.
Had no end of problems with them as they didn't suit my gait and I ended up buying another pair from my local running shop. Probably worth getting your gait analysed with both pairs of trainers, see what suits and then look to buy either here or out there. X

Can I get my gait analysed in a regular sports store (JD Sports etc.) or would it have to be a specific type of store? Would never have thought of that to be honest. Thanks for the advice
