post-thanksgiving sales

does anyone know how long these usually go on for...would they usually continue into 1st week in december?

This comes from the Florida All-State shopping champion 25 years running:

Yes, the sales continue after Thanksgiving Day, in fact the day after is the biggest sales day of all, Black Friday. The sales continue right up until the 24th December.

In my experience, everyday is a sales day in one store or another. They also have pre-Thanksgiving sales which I prefer as they're not as manic as Black Friday and that weekend.

many a bargain has been purchased before and after Black Friday, that is the only day I avoid the shops!
