Help needed please - Alamo cancelling and rebooking help

Good afternoon,
I was just double checking our existing booking and noticed I’ve booked a day earlier than we need. I started to modify the booking but noticed the new price was less than what we’ve paid. Can I now cancel and rebook for the new price? I’ve booked through Alamo.co.uk themselves. I’ve read terms and it sounds like I can but I’m nervous incase I’ve read it incorrectly and end up paying again and they don’t refund me.

If you go to the "Amend Reservation" page (this can be found at the top of the front page of Alamo.co.uk), you can amend the original booking. They will take payment in full again, but they will refund the original within a few days.
I did this last weekend and the money is safely back in my account now!
