OLCI with BA is there any point?

Hi

We are flying with BA and have paid to book our seats for both legs of the flight.

Is there any point in me doing OLCI the day before both legs?

Or can i sort everything ie boarding pases out at the Airport when we arrive at the airport?

Thanks

I'd always check in online where I can, seats or no seats. I just tick the option to collect boarding passes at airport.

Hi Pasty - we always OLCI with VA and let their check-in desk print our boarding cards, likely you can do this with BA too. I stopped printing boarding cards many years ago after the the desk agent tore mine up and printed their own.

I would always try to check in online 24 hours before. I always think they might try to change my seats if I don't . If you have the BA app you can get the boarding passes downloaded straight to it.

Just remember that even pre booked seats can change and you like your seats. Check in online to secure your seats

Airlines are known to overbook a plane at busy times due to no shows and on these occasions someone will be unlucky. On-line check-in tells them of your intention to fly and not being a no show.
