Blossom Hill California is sweet.
We used to love it but now prefer a dryer red

I like a Merlot but it’s quite a heavy wine. My brother likes a Tempranillo red which I think is Spanish ? He says it’s a softer, lighter-tasting wine.

Or you could make a long drink - the good old 60’s classic Port & Lemon(ade) or soda with ice and a slice. Bit like Pimms.

This would be my choice too. Sweeter than most red wines.

I like a sweet red wine and have found one which is actually called Banrock Station sweet red wine. I get it from Calais wine store but it is probably available in the uk somewhere.

I have tried quite a few since originally posting.
It turns out that I like a full bodied red and now don't have white at all. 😀
