I’m not that keen on mince pies.

However, I think Costco’s are delicious. A pastry case filled with small layer of mincemeat, topped with a light sponge and a sprinkling of icing sugar.

Greggs are good, very big though so we’d often share one. Sainsbury’s ecclefechan tarts are very good too

I may have partaken in one or two (dozen) mince pies already this festive season 😳😳😳

So far I would recommend Asda Exra Special and the award winning Iceland ones 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Not so fussed on Wairose mini ones (nice pastry but more air than filling), and the worst of the year have been Bookers Cash & Carry ones (that you can get from Premier / Londis etc) 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

We have tried the Iceland one and many others. Greggs are are still the best for us.

these are lovely and tweakable, we make them ourselves on Christmas eve

although ours end up about 18 times the size of these and a bit messy - but best yet.
