Camera with handle not sure on?
I have a GoPro Hero 4 which I had handled most of our trip, fantastic camera... some of our footage from the waterparks/ Discovery cove is amazing! For me money well spent. I also have a Nikon D3100 it's bulky and annoying to carry but gives me my best pictures.

For quick convenience shots we use our phones. I can't recommend any alternatives to Gopro but I did spend a lot of time reading up before I bought ours and just opted straight for this one due to the reviews.

I've heard good things about Apeman action cameras. Can anybody recommend?

We've just bought a used Gopro hero HD 2 from ebay. We are not used to using cameras but heard good things about the gopro so thought we'd try b4 spending a lot of money on one (£50 on ebay, with all the gear). Going to try it out when we go in 4 weeks

My small camera set up consists of a Sony RX100 MKiii mounted on a Manfrotto Pixi tripod for a handle/grip, and a GoPro Hero 4 on a various array of mounts depending on what's required at the time.

Though it must be noted this is mainly for video work, and quick snap photos where I want more control than my phone.

My real photos will be from my 7D and a variety of lenses

In the past we've always taken our DSLR and a little point and shoot...not anymore though! This time we'll be using a GoPro Hero 5 and our phones, an iPhone 7 and an iPhone 8 both of which have decent 12mp cameras.

I have however been looking in to lens kits for the phones, telephoto etc.

gopro knockoffs - the sj4000 is of similar quality, but a fraction of the price - i have several of them myself so can vouch for them, but search youtube for "gopro vs sj4000" for comparison videos if you dont believe me

amazon/SJCAM-Water...dc6ab3a7042134

the wifi model is about £15 more, but i dont own any of those...

camera-wise, i stopped taking my dslr years ago, i only take my EOS-m compact out in the evenings too - for daytime shots, my phone does the job just fine

hth

Lumix TZ70 and GoPro Hero 5 was the combination we took last year. Got slot of footage on the GoPro but have learnt a lot in doing so (What not to bother doing) but was well worth it. Need patience with the editting though!
