October 2019 Club!

So, who's going to join me in the October 2019 club?

I haven't booked yet, but will be in the next few days to stay at CBR from around 19th October for 2 weeks. It's a surprise trip for our daughter's 18th birthday so will be kept secret until her birthday at the start of October

Also planning to book a couple of nights using DVC points - hopefully one at the BC (for DS as he's always wanted to use the pool there) and one at WL (for DD as she's always wanted to stay there).

Also planning HHN for DD and DH as they're complete horror fans, whereas DS and I are team will

Update: so we're booked for 2 weeks at CBR from 21st October - 4th November. Managed to get reward flights with Virgin flying from Gatwick, economy out and PE back. Booked our outbound seats in the bubble.
Got 1 night booked at the BC and hoping to sort out the WL night soon. Then it's just Cabana Bay to book, but want to wait until tickets for HHN go on sale first so I can check prices and chose the cheapest night! Will use Tesco vouchers to book Cabana Bay

Might see you there then. There are a few of us going to be at CBR at the same time

I was thinking about booking the VIP tour for HHN so that they can get the most out if it. I'll price up all the options when prices are released

Fantastic! Would love to stay there but it's out of our budget. Looking forward to our single night though if I can rent some DVC points

Yes I have noticed a few people actually !
Ah that would be fab!
Gutted I can’t go this year as only myself, my sister and my two little ones . Last time we went there was 9 of us so lots more babysitting options ha ha!

Are you going to upgrade your plan or stick with the quick serve ?

We're not going this year either, so I'll keep you company here

We're just sticking to the qsdp as we like the flexibility and know where to find the best food. Plus, it would cost £952 to upgrade and I can make better use of that money elsewhere. We'll have 2-3 TS meals that we'll just pay for oop

Hope you have a great time. We are going for DDs 18th THIS October. Seems a great place for an 18th celebration. You are good if you can keep it a secret, I was too excited when I booked so had to tell her 😁.

Not booked yet but pricing everything up. Looking to fly out 24th for 16 nights. Accommodation will be a mixture of Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge (all using our DVC points), and will prob book a four night cruise too. Quite excited as we will be taking our friends and their little boy with us. He will be two and this will be his first (of many) visit. Can’t wait to get him his first pair of ears!

Oh, I hope you have a wonderful time!

We're pretty good at keeping secrets and have already done 3 out of our 5 trips as surprises. The first time we booked we just blurted it out through excitement, and the third trip we were taking grandma so needed their help with planning that. This will be the longest secret though, with the previous longest being a year. It will be worth it though
