It’s quite simple. After collecting your bags make your way to the Magical Express check in desk. (Which I think is B side of the airport, but it is signposted). You then check in and you will be directed to the line for the resort you are staying in. The driver will take your luggage and load it underneath and you will collect it from the coach when you get to your resort.
For the return journey you will get a note through your door the night before telling your pick up time.

It’s the best thing! After a long flight and sometimes a ridiculous queue at immigration there is nothing more to lift the soul. You know you are there and the excitement builds and suddenly the weariness of the journey disappears and... you’re on your way to Disney!

Oh and yes practically it’s just as pookie says. X

Walk downstairs at MCO, give the cast member your name/booking details and then get on a coach.

Not sure a "guide" is really required!

As long as you're staying in a WDW resort, you don't actually have to.

Last year I booked a flight one morning to fly to Orlando that same day. When I get to Gatwick and Disney in the US opened I phoned and booked Coronado Springs.

When I landed at MCO I just walked down to Magical Express, sans booking, and I just got on as I have every other time.

Most people don't tend to leave it to the last minute to book their holidays though. And during one of my phone calls to Disney after I'd booked this year's holiday the CM said they prefer it to be booked to give them an idea of how many people they have to pick up and take to what resorts.
