Mobile Animal kingdom vip tour?

Has anyone done this? Ive tried doing a quick search in the trip reports but couldn't find anything. Its the 4hr afternoon one, where you get taken on the rides by a guide. Just wondering if its worth the hefty $250pp price tag. But also thinking this might be our only chance of getting on Pandora.

$250 per person just to get on Pandora? Just get there early and you can ride for free, or keep checking for fastpasses.

If we can get fast passes then awesome...we dont really need the tour. But we are travelling all the way from Australia. 15hrs from Sydney to L.A then another 5hrs from L.A to Orlando. So yes... out the distance and travel time into perspective and the $$$ suddenly seems like a viable option for someone who cant visit WDW yearly.

Unfortunately a lot of people can't visit at all.

Very true. But those people wouldnt even be considering trying to knock out all of the main attractions in half a day, so they can maximise precious time elsewhere. Its no different to people who do the priority HRN if they only get one night and want to see all the houses. Or $500 dinner at V&A. Or people who book a night at a Universal hotel to get FOL. Or people who bool a throw away night at Disney to get 60+ faspasses. Its all relevant and what works best for you and your family, should you be fortunate to be able to visit at all.

Are you staying club level? Or looking too? You can pay $50 per person to get an extra 3 non tiered fastpasses, cheaper than the $250 and you will be able to get Pandora fastpasses guaranteed. If it’s about maximising your time it might be worth looking at. We have paid the extra and got all three top tier Toy Story fastpasses in a row. There is a minimum of 3 days but it still might work well for you

Ok, today + 542 is the 20/10/19. By then FOP will likely not be the hot ticket anymore, Star wars will have conquered Disney World

You likely won't have an issue with 60+FP as your on site. What I always do is start as far into the holiday as I can and work backwards for the hard to get rides. It gives you a much better chance as our holidays are typically longer than the US visitors, so more availability. I'd be fairly shocked if you couldn't get FOP.

On the other hand I full expect that you might be asking the same question next year in regard to Star Wars

Either way have a fab holiday, the Boardwalk area is fab (though we prefer the BC)
