It’s an 18 rated and rightly so. Seems it’s parents of viewers who are younger than this that want it pulled which begs the question why are they letting them watch it? It has multiple warnings before it too.
I do know what happens and as awful as it is it does happen and I think that’s why they put it on the show , not just to shock but to make people think .

I enjoyed it and thought it really raised the issue of mental health and showed that she didn’t do it for revenge, rather showing the audience that even the smallest of things can have a major effect on people’s mental health. But also raised awareness of the rape culture and the issue of consent. The last episode was very graphic though and shocking. Definitely not for under 16 or those who could be triggered. It does say before hand about what to expect.

Just finished watching S2.

It's good. It's really emotional and intense and, at times, even more difficult to watch than S1.

Perhaps, every parent of teens in the US should have to watch it!

I’m on episode 4, I’m enjoying it, but it’s so depressing to watch I try watch it every few days (I watch season 1 in under a week). it’s thought provoking, I remember some of the (smaller) issues happening to myself and friends growing up, but didn’t take seriously at the time.

I thought this! I found myself getting really down after watching a few episodes at a time.

I know i'm probably in the minority, but I really didn't like "the scene" in the last episode. I know it's an 18, and it's appropriate for the story. But it really upset me.

It was difficult to watch for sure...and i'm not sure anyone can say they 'liked' it but it was powerful...

Do you mean you're in the minority not liking the series or not liking that scene? ...Because you can't possibly be in the minority not liking that scene! My hands were in front of my face. It was very upsetting. I don't like to think about it.

In the interviews programme, it was mentioned it happens 'a lot' in high schools; whatever that means it must need to be faced, because hiding these things away protects the wrong people.

It's a very intense story overall; hope you're feeling better now.
