First time shopper question

Really basic question here, this is the first time we are going to hire a car and leave the bubble of the theme parks.

We are only hiring a car for a couple of days and wanted to visit a mall or outlet type place.

Which is the biggest and best outlet place to visit?

Also is there a big Walmart close to Disney?

Thanks so much

Tom

Search this forum. All your answers are here. All the different malls are discussed. Where and which Walmart to go to, etc.

Thank you I was just being lazy I suppose!

Looking like the Vineland outlet mall is the one for us (mainly because it has Taco Bell)

Five Guys is great - massive portions and the fries are superb.

Five Guys is at Premium Outlet Universal end of International Drive.

Premium Outlets are great loads of bargains. Go to Customer Services to get a voucher book for even more discounts.

Happy shopping!

Taco Bell is great if you are ok with dying young :

Try Sweet Tomatoes at least once

Do your shopping late

There are massive WalMarts, Targets everywhere in Orlando and around the perimeter of Disney - better than the outlets for or'nary clothes, jeans and stuff and great for Disney souvenirs

Visit the Florida Mall

The big premium outlets are very busy and parking is a nightmare

You can not drive 100 yards in Florida without seeing a shop, a strip mall, an outlet mall, a fast food chain restaurant, a gas station, a chain restaurant, a 24 hr pharmacy, a supermarket, a realtor, etc

Be good to your children - they look after you when you are older (provided you haven't died young from Taco Bell)

And don't forget the Sunscreen

In 2009 we went to the Mall at Millenia (again following my stomach and headed to the Cheesecake Factory)

Didn't think all that much of the mall itself so hope for better with the outlets!

Wow, we love Taco Bell and have had it in US, UK and Iceland and never had a problem, do you know why they call it that?

What's the reasoning behind this? Been eating it for 30 years so what do you call dying 'young'?
