Sales Tax Free Weekend?

I recall last August there was a Tax Free weekend for shopping before the Florida schools went back for Autumn. We just missed it as it was the first weekend in August. Is this an annual event? Does anyone know if it is due to happen again this year? Here's hoping...

Yes, it is 1-3 August this year. From your countdown, it looks as if you might have just missed it!

Unfortunately, we don't arrive until the 9th.

It covers clothing, shoes, backpacks and school equipment under $100, and computers and related accessories up to $750.

Gutted that we're going to miss out on this (land on the 13th), but at least the schools will be starting again so places get a *little* less busy
