If they show as included extras I wouldn’t also add them to the booking. You’re doubling up. It should show in the small print that they’re already included.

I used Dollar via Jet2, reserved and paid in full in May. I have just used their online check-in service, which I hope is their version of 'Skip the Line.'

I uploaded photos of the front and back of my driver's license along with a selfie. However, I received an email advising that I would need to pay $621.30 at the time of rental.

Does anyone have any knowledge about this? Does the voucher cover the payment? I want to avoid any issues with duplicate payments or delays at the airport.

I'm currently on hold with customer service, and the experience is not great. Alamo is so much more efficient!

I have received this today...

I received this at the time of booking...

I presume you have checked your bank to make sure that the full payment was taken in May at time of booking?

Are you on hold to Dollar customer service or Jet2. Id say call Jet2 as it is them you will have paid. They should have made the payment to Dollar on your behalf after they received your funds.

£481 (your confirmation email)= $621.

It’s nothing to worry about.

I know the figures are correct, but the 'pay at time of rental' note is a bit concerning, even though I understand the voucher might cover this.

I called Jet2 since I feel my contract of sale is with them. The person I spoke with kept asking for my holiday reference. I explained it was car hire only, so he asked for my flight reference instead. You can imagine the service levels. He then said he would transfer me to Dollar, but the call connected to 'Jet2 Car Hire.' The girl explained she was from Jet2, and I was put on hold for 30 minutes before the call was answered by someone at Dollar. They said they couldn't help because it's a 'locked reservation' and seemed to have no understanding of the issue. I think it will be fine, but I need to keep an eye on it and speak to them when we collect the car to ensure there are no duplicate payments.

This is common with BA fly drive bookings. While we pay BA direct logging into the Avis app will tell you that $xxx is due on arrival.

I have never been billed anything additional. It is Jet2s responsibility to settle with Dolllar, not yours. You are paid and I'm quite sure the system will recognise that upon arrival.

It's unsettling but I think you'll be fine.

The terms and conditions say that the car hire is booked through Jet2carhire.com Transport limited..
Please contact Booking.com with any enquiries.

Ha ha have found where to put the offer code in now….found a Ford Expedition with Alamo inc 1 extra driver but when I put 1 more driver in it comes out at £795 …so my deal with Alamo Brits inc 3 extra drivers is cheaper
I wish the site would let me put the number of people ie 7/8 making it easier to find the bigger SUV
