Train from Charles De Gaulle

Wondering if anyone can help, we are flying into Charles de Gaulle in August and I know we can get a direct train from there to Marne le Valle - but my question is, does anyone know how long from landing it takes to get through we only have hand luggage so no waiting around for luggage - just need to book the train and not sure how long to allow

Any help would be very much appreciated

How would that work anyway as you’re basing it on your flight arriving at the scheduled time?

There's no right answer. Your flight could be late, it could take longer than you thought..

That's one reason we always book a transfer. BS Transports usually costs the same or less than the train or the coach. They keep an eye on your flight times and meet you in arrivals. They can WhastApp you in the case of any delays.

Last time we went we got an Uber and there was a whole confusion about where we should be to be picked up. Wouldn’t want that again, although it was a great price!

May I ask what BS Transports are please? I’ll Google also 😉

I wouldn’t book a train for a particular time, no way of knowing how long you will be in the immigration queue or if you will be late of course.

They are a transfer company. Previously called RS Transports. We have used them for years.

We used the train straight from the airport, but glad we didn’t book as it took ages to get from the plane to train station. But you can use the machines near the station to get tickets for the next available train the machines have English and will take card for cash we then just went straight to platform and waited 10 minutes the journey was quick as well and your straight at the station

Thank you all, I just assumed that the train would be the most straight forward solution, but I will look into the transfer company you have suggested

It can be but not pre booking. As the poster above says, just turn up and buy the tickets when you get there. Would take a couple of minutes.

It isn’t the train that is the issue, nobody has said that. It is the pre-booking a specific train that seems unwise. Just get to the train station and buy a ticket, like you would in the UK.
