I have a Bosch and must have had it for over 9 years.

We have a Miele condenser dryer. I use it all the time and it’s around 12 years old.

Not a Hotpoint!

Mine was subject to the recall. Paid £50 instead of waiting for a repair and had a brand new one. Just out of the 12 month warranty and I can smell burning electric cabling.

I can see a trip to the tip coming on - again!

My Hotpoint new replacement didn’t make 12 months... never ever again. I bought a Bosch from AO and I love it... it actually works which is a bonus

Those Bosses from Whirlpool or whoever owns it now should be doing time over the wall and stripped of all their assets. Disgraceful money grabbing people.

When we moved house around 3 years ago, I used the Which site and found a BEKO condenser dryer for £189 it had excellent reviews, only one slightly ahead of it was a Miele. It's a fab dryer, easy to use and easy to clean. Total bargain

Well, I've a Hotpoint and not had any problems. Mine was a replacement one which I got free of charge. Didn't have any problems with the one it replaced either.

I think they’ll end up like Ratners, it’s got to catch up with them eventually
