Red tide in Clearwater?

We’re planning a beach day tomorrow, was going to go to Clearwater, but not sure about the red tide situation there...has it been affected? We’ve already been to both Deerfield & Vero Beach on the Atlantic coast, so really want to see the gulf coast but am really unsure!

We were at Clearwater on Thursday and it was fine, had a lovely swim in the sea and a ride on the Seascreamer.

Nope Clearwater is fine. We move to St Pete tomorrow and it’s all clear 👍🏻

Have a look at the Mote beach report, that gives you a good indication. Clearwater looks ok

Looks like beach day is on! We were supposed to go last time but Hermonie hit so we couldn’t go lol.

Well we went to Clearwater today, had a lovely few hours before a massive rain storm hit and we made our way home to davenport. The kids snorkelled in the sea but it wasn’t as clear as they hoped, they said it was better visibility in Lanzarote last summer!

we were at Clearwater a few days ago and it was fine, nothing around

nice little beach, we parked about " hogans shop " for $2 a hour, a steal and loads of space

it got clearer as you got out past the mooring posts, before that it was very poor
