I have just checked my Man - Mco 10th October. Flight time has changed but still on the 200 so no plane change

It would have bothered me usually as I’m not a fan of the herringbone style upper class on the 300, but after the last year I’m sure I’ll get over it!
Not a fan of the herringbone style either, I don’t like being stared at for 9 hours, specifically booked the later flight to avoid this layout, am I mad to thinking to book premium instead, prob won’t use the lounge now either unless we get up at 5am.

I thought there was a row that faced the back of the herringbone style seats. That way you would just be side by side?

Are these amendments mainly a result of aircraft changes? My flights times have shifted by a couple of hours for flights to MIA (August) and LAS (October) but it appears the aircraft has stayed the same (Boeing 787-9) and our seats in upper class (reward seat sale bargains!) have not changed.

I tried to avoid it too, but any upper class is better then Premium, so I wouldn’t change it.

Book A seats if they’re available. They face towards the back of the middle row, so you have nobody looking at you.

Glad I spotted this thread. We got the email telling us of changes to our flight MAN to MCO on 29th October..I had row 25 booked in PE. Plane has changed to a 200 and they left us on row 25 in economy which is a bit naughty seeing as its all paid for.. Luckily seeing this thread Ive been onto Manage My Booking and just managed to bag the only two seats together on row 14 in PE... Lets see what the return flights end up with, Im half expecting it to change

I’ve just checked ours and I’d got us seats quite near the front and we’ve now been booted to the back and it’ll cost us extra to move back. Cheeky.

I believe that if you booked your seats before March 15th then you should be able to change them back free of charge. Give them a ring or What's App.

Send them a message on Twitter if you can. They'd done exactly the same to us but sending a message had it all sorted in a couple of hours.
Seats are not quite as good as we originally booked but at least we're back on a 2 x 2 not the middle 4. The seats they've now given us were showing as £30 each but from what I've been reading on here because we'd booked them before March they are free.

Hope you get it sorted.
