We've got them when staying offsite and when onsite. Have to admit we found it a lot easier with two kids not worrying about the tickets everyday and getting them out of my wallet etc

Get your magic bands first thing in the morning and away you go. Plus the kids spent some of their holiday money on the upgraded design ones so they were dead chuffed with them.

Can you buy Magic Bands in the UK so you have them before you go?

You will find some on ebay, but if you wait until you get there you are likely to have more choice.

Worth remembering that there's no guarantee how old the magic bands on eBay are too so the RFID might have run out.

If the main reason is to avoid carrying your cards around, you can purchase a Disney gift card (physical or electronic) instead and use that in the parks. During the Epcot festivals, they even sell smaller ones that go around your wrist.
