Also helped that we have redone 2 bathrooms in last year, and about to do the kitchen, and all goes via the credit card and Shops Away - it really racks up!

When you say you pay it back through the app what does this mean?
I previously had the Amex and used that to get reward flights for our 2019 trip, so i spent and paid off in full each month. Looking to get a new card and do the same, is there something else i could be doing to maximise points?

I mean that when I use my Amex, I go straight onto the Amex app & pay the amount straight back with my debit card.
