Thank you
My daughter and I are both a little useless so it’s certainly going to be an adventure 🤣

The docks aren’t close to the university FT. Although if you want a nice meal ans cocktails that’s where you should head. Has she chosen her accommodation? Maybe an idea to look around that area too as many are in different areas

it depends which building you are in as the campus spreads out, but i would walk down hardman street as pleanty of venues. This then leads you down to Bold Street and the surrounding area where you will finds lots of hospitality venues.
As someone above mentioned it maybe worth taking a look around the accomodation areas (if she gets a choice) as she may prefer one over the other.
Liverpool has such a wide range of reasturants and venues its hard suggest just one or two.

The accommodation she has chosen is the crown. We have no idea where that is in relation to the university. Everything so far has been done online due to covid. So this is actually her first time onsite. She is nervous she won’t like it in real life 🙈🙈

Oh no! Are you getting the train straight to Lime Street? Can you not get the train from Wallgate to Kirby then get the Kirby train to Central? Its very easy, you just walk off one train, about 50 yards down the same platform then get on the Liverpool train which will be waiting. It would save waiting an hour.

Crown is right in the very centre of the university. It's practically opposite the Guild which has the student bar and eating places in.

I'd second this, then it leads you down to Liverpool 1 shops, and onto the docks if you have time.
